Fourth Dimensional Sewing

When Jinx #69 appeared, Stewart James' Sefalaljia spirit cabinet routine became an outstanding hit. I have taken one part of that effect and made it into a trick which can be done by night club performers who entertain at tables, a trick which is impromptu requiring no underhanded fixing of the materials used, and one which is far different from any heretofore shown in that field. A Ring There Was

We first saw Frederick Eugene Powell in a little town near Waverly when he was on one of his last Lyceum circuits. His magic, as we look back now, was of the old school sort overlapping a new era. A Ring in Transit

Of all the classics of magic, the flying ring effect is one of the prettiest. In this masterful method however, no pull or body attachment is used. The effect is just the same as with the original version wherein a borrowed ring passes from one hand to the other while they are enclosed with handkerchiefs, which also may be borrowed. Follow the instructions as given here and you'll have one of the nicest program effects you ever have used. Duplicate a wedding ring in the five and ten cent store. Good imitations are to be had there and with this…
